The Haunted Ship Wreck

Once upon a time there lived a boy called Ben; he had four best friends named Lara, Daniel, Darshana, and Fleur. They used tom live in Norway. Their lives used to be simple and funny. Sometimes they used to play tricks on the local people. Some said that they were using their clever brains for nothing; and a few who admired them .and said that their unity is like none others. Their friend ship brain and truth will help them succeed in life.

Well the story begins with them:

“It is so hot this summer, I wish I could go to a seaside”, said Darshana. So they planned to go for a trip to a nearby island.

They got their lunch and tea packed by their mothers. She said, ‘hope Daniel will take care of you all, I have most faith in him.” “He is so sensible, now that he is seventeen I am sure he is very capable of taking care of you all.”

They went to tom the fisherman who kept Lara’s boat for her. Ben called out hey “Tom! A good morning to you, could you get us Lara’s boat.”    “Surely mister and a good morning too you all to,” said Tom

So he went off to get the boat …

He thought it was very odd for them to go for a boat ride in such hot weather.

He dragged the boat to Daniel and told them “you guys should not go for a boat ride today, it is such a hot weather, you may fall sick.”

“It wants matter because we will be under the water,” said Darshana.

They put in their picnic boxes in the boat and got in themselves.

Daniel pushed the boat into the water and jumped in himself.

Lara started rowing the boat with Daniel.

Lara was a little girl of 13. She was the youngest among the five, but still she was quiet strong.

It was a bright and sunny day with the sun shining bright and the fishes rippling under the clear calm water.

Fleur and Darshana were enjoying the scene in the water, while Ben was enjoying the scene in the sky filled with flocks of a variety of birds flying in a v shaped formation.

After some time, Ben and Darshana took over the oars while Daniel and Lara started lazing in the beautiful scene.

It did not take very long to reach the island.

They shoved the boat under the bush and put on their swimming costumes.

They dived into the deep blue sea.

To have fun-Daniel who was an excellent under water diver pulled Fleur’s leg from under the water. Fleur screamed. Not because Daniel had pulled her leg but because some invisible force was pulling her.

It was not after very long that the others realized that Fleur was not among them, she had disappeared.

Daniel went to look for her, he said to the others, “you guys wait here till I find and bring Fleur back.’’ He did not find fleur but he got lost himself.

The others were very miserable and curious, " aha first this fleur go off and now this Daniel” , said Lara, “We must do something.”

So they planned to hold hands and dive together. But a strong current ripped them apart from each other. Lara found Daniel and stayed with him whereas Ben was still with Darshana. The two pairs moved towards the opposite direction.

Fleur was a little ahead of them; she suddenly fell into a hole,” wonder where am I, I think I know”, thought Fleur “I sense some evil spirits.” And she was right…

Lara & Daniel moved on. They bumped into a door made of oak wood .they opened the door; it was a bedroom, a bedroom with everything colored pink in it. Daniel was a very lazy person and he went mad on seeing the beautiful king sized bed. He jumped on the bed and layer down on it with a bump. Suddenly he started feeling as if some invisible cords had blinded him to the bed.

He could not get up. However hard he tried tighter the cords became. He ached with pain. Soon roots began to appear on the walls of the room. Daniel shouted up and told Lara, “get away from here as fast as you can.”

“No I am not leaving you alone in this room to suffer.”   

“Ok, but do you have a pen knife. See if you do so then use it else look mine, Pocket you will find one in it. Use it to cut my chords open there is not much time left I can sense the presence of devil here about.”

“Fine I am doing it.”

So quickly Lara did as she was told small though she was she was as quick as a grasshopper.

Ben and Darshana moved on and they soon fell through a hole... it was the same hole through which fleur had fallen through… they met Fleur .there were sacks filled with gold coins all around the room.

Fleur told them that if the gold is touched by a person then it turns the person who has touched them into stones.  

If a person has a heart with great purity and is an n honest person, he can turn the stone to gold and use it as gold itself. So it was written under the sacks, “thy man who uses me without spoiling my beauty and can use as I am thy man who I belong too.”

Lara had just somehow managed to free Daniel and run through the corridor of the house in which they had entered. They soon heard the sound of ghostly steps.

Suddenly everything became blank and Lara realized that she had been separated from Daniel. She tried to find her way through the dark corridor when she entered a room light had returned. She saw a little girl lying in the bed. Her face was as pale as Banquo’s ghost. It seemed to Lara as if the little girl was a spirit and so she was… tears were running through the girl face and Lara could not bear young and beautiful girls crying. So Lara asked her, “What is your name child and why are you crying?”

The little girl replied,” my name is Imon, I used to be a royal princess and had whatever one could ask for. Years ago in the 14^th century I had boarded the ship on my birthday it was the first time I had got into a vehicle which could move on the water. Soon after five days this ship began to sink in the water there was no leakage in the ship so everyone got scared why the ship was sinking without any reason. But oddly no water ever entered the ship…………

The little girl Imon stopped speaking and within a few seconds she suddenly started screaming to tell Lara, “Get away from the ship, save your life while you still can. There is very little time left. No one has ever been able to reach so far. Get away.

But all this time where was Daniel. He had just got lost a bit. He had entered a ball room where people were wearing old fashioned dresses and were dancing. There strange attires made him think as if he was in the past. It was not after very long that he did realize that the people dancing were not something which was alive but spirits. It seemed to him that as if the spirits were prisoners, they had terrified looks on their faces.

‘Hey you there stop’ he called out to a waiter.

“Get away, why did you come here, gets away.

Suddenly with flickers of light everything went blank and there was no light in the room anymore.

And also as it happened in the pink room in this room also roots stared grow on the walls. There was a foul smell of oil and petrol all around.

Fleur had explained the others the truth behind the gold. She then continued”, I cannot touch the gold, when I try to draw near it seems as if someone is pulling me away.”

Darshana tried to get hold of a handful of gold and got it she turned into a stone, Ben who was holding her other hand also turned into a stone.

Fleur sank down to the ground and cried out,”oh why didn’t I tell them”? Fleur’s baby blue eyes transformed to blazing red ones… her hair from golden to the darkest shade of brown…Her timid size to a huge monstrous girl. She laughed mercilessly. Fleur’s sweet little laugh was not to be heard but a high cold shrill one. She took a dagger in her hand and was just going to stab Ben when someone held her hand tightly from the back… the grip was a firm one. She turned to see who it was, it was the real Fleur. Soon a terrific fight broke out between the real Fleur and the disguised one.

Actually what had happened was like this: this woman had hit Fleur on the head which had made Fleur faint for a while. She had then changed her appearance to Fleur’s.   Fleur hit the woman sharply on the head which made her unconscious.

She was pure at heart so she could and was very well able to save Ben and Darshana. She took them out of the room and into the corridor, when Ben asked, ” Where are we going??”

Fleur replied, “there is no time to be lost”, “we need to save Daniel…I have got no idea where Lara is but I’m sure that he will know” … they went to look for Daniel by that time…

Actually they all had chanced upon the same ship wreck, of which a part was totally pink.

The woman with her evil ambitions had almost revived from the blow. Fleur felt that, so she told the others to carry on while she would go back.

**

By that time… Lara was trying to touch everything and hoping that they would become alive again. With a few sparks of the light returning every thing became as it was. The girl Imon, ”Didn’t I tell you to go.  Didn’t I?? …oh!! no.!!>.. I don’t want to go , she there she is wating for me ..she tortures me badly..how much I want to die but I am already dead.”  

Lara asked, “Who is she?”

Imon replied, “We are not allowed to talk about them. They are..” she stopped and could not continue.

“Are there more prisoners??”  Lara asked, and she nodded her head in agreement..

Fleur had just gone back to the room but through a different route. She knew that the witch would be waiting for her in the other path. She crossed the room taking some more gold with her. But this time the witch had a protective layer around her so fleur could not hurt her.” Though knowing that she took the gold because she knew that the gold was the only thing which had kept the ship from sinking and thus keeping the souls a reason a light to have hopes…
