‘Pearl’, I heard someone call out my name. I was sitting in my place with my head down on the table. I was trying to catch a wink of sleep before i had to go for the much dreaded Hindi class. Not that I didn’t like Hindi as a subject but it was just that the exceptional teacher and I had a misunderstanding. Well not even that! Our opinions differed pretty much along with that our interpretation of the literary and hidden meanings of different subjects were poles apart. I loved to sleep so i slowly pulled my head up to glare at the person who had dared to disturb my short siesta. It was Kai. I sighed and said, ”Girl! What the heck do you need?” She walked over to the middle of the classroom and said, “ Pearl!” She had a strange look on her face. She beckoned me to walk up to where she was standing and pointed towards the door. Yes! She beckoned to me. THE MICE AND THE BIRDS

Once upon a time there lived mice and birds in a tree. They were friends. One day a mouse and a bird were going to the village to get food for their family. In the village one of the hunters said, “There is a tree in the village in it there live mice and many birds, we can put a net to trap them.”After they had listened to the hunters they quickly got the food and rushed home to tell their family what had happened. The next early in the morning they left the tree and went looking for a new home. But it was too late for them the hunters had followed them and they hid in a bush soon they settled and the hunters had put the net they got trapped but the mice had sharp teeth so they cut the net with it and they all escaped.     Written on -Dated the 23 September,2010

Yep you are right our dear own Ms. R. Sachdev. This line left us all astonished. Why? Because let me tell you it was probably more pleasurable than 99.9% of the things that I have ever gone to visit. These trips are something that all of us look forward to, even if it is just to the top of an empty stairwell. Why? Because we are not just going to the top but on an adventure towards it… something that makes it more memorable.. All the hearts throbbing, pulsing with anticipation, that makes our blood race with adrenaline, making us notice every single tiny detail, not just keep it in the subconscious part of our brain but in our hearts forever.
